A difficult job I think, with a herringbone design and a significant level difference over a large area. Tackled with a lot of attention to detail, and the end result looks superb. Good communications throughout, and David was accommodating with the timescale to work around builders etc.

David fit approximately 80sqm of reclaimed French Oak wood across various areas of our new property, easily making it a beautiful, warm family home. Together with Leigh, the full extent of the work was clearly explained to us from the outset. David is a consummate professional, taking infinite care in the job he is doing. I cannot recommend David and Leigh enough... I asked David to fit parquet blocks running from the hallway into the lounge. There was a problem with the original rustic oak blocks that we had ordered but David replaced them with higher quality prime oak blocks free of charge and the finished flooring is absolutely stunning. David's attention to detail is superb, blending skirting profiles into architrave and finishing the flooring with solid oak strips where required.

We were initially unsure about what oil treatment to use on the flooring as we didn't want the traditional high gloss orange parquet flooring. David and Leigh were always happy to offer advice and really helped us achieve the type of flooring we were looking for. The finish has a very subtle grey matt tint whilst still looking natural. AJC Hardwood Flooring are a very professional company who care about quality and service. David is very skilled and fitted solid oak parquet flooring in our dining room, which ran through from the existing parquet in the hallway so it had to be matched as closely as possible. He knew exactly which blocks to supply and then sanded the hallway back and re-lacquered that too so that the final finish and join across both rooms was as seamless as it possibly could be.

The work was carried out perfectly to schedule, with care taken to create as little mess and disruption as possible. We have no hesitation in recommending David and his team.

It's been a joy to take on David and Leigh to fit an engineered oak parquet floor in our extension. David and Leigh were very efficient from the start, in both coming out to quote and also confirming prices dates and times. We ordered/received the flooring then ended up having to wait 10 weeks for the COVID lockdown to ease. They kept in touch throughout and eventually David came and completed the job in 2 days.
